Baptist Anderson Recognizes Team Members With BEE Awards

Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center recently honored non-nursing team members who work in supportive roles or provide direct patient care and consistently go above and beyond to make a difference for patients, visitors and coworkers with the BEE Award.

Security Officer Russell “Sonny” Andreacchio received the BEE Award for going above and beyond to assist a patient. The team member who nominated Andreacchio said: “Recently, a patient with dementia became lost and was unable to locate our clinic. Sonny immediately took action. He actively searched the area until the patient was located in her car at another clinic. He assisted the patient and had her safely follow him to our clinic. His actions reflect the very heart of the BEE Award — going beyond expectations to provide exceptional support and care.”

 

Howard GordonHoward Gordon, detailer in Environmental Services, was presented with the BEE Award following a nomination from a team member. The nominator said: “Howard has made a remarkable and positive impact on our facility through his dedication, initiative and strong work ethic. From his first days on the job, Howard has consistently gone above and beyond expectations. He pays attention to details that are often overlooked and has taken great pride in ensuring our environment is clean, welcoming and safe for both patients and staff. His proactive approach to identifying areas needing extra care demonstrates a true commitment to excellence.”

 

Cassandra Little, Health Information Management clerk for the Pain Management Center, won the BEE Award for her compassion and dedication. The colleague who nominated Little said: “Cassandra consistently goes above and beyond in her role, embodying the very spirit of teamwork, compassion and excellence that this award represents. She is the first to step in when help is needed — often anticipating the needs of both patients and staff before anyone asks. Her calm, professional demeanor and warm personality create a positive environment for everyone she encounters.”
