On June 12, the NEA Baptist Internal Medicine Residency Program hosted a ceremony honoring its 2026 graduates. The celebration marked the completion of three years in residency and celebrated the hard work and dedication of each graduate.
Al Brodell serves as the administrative director for NEA Baptist Graduate Medical Education. The eight graduates included Dr. Joshua Ackley, Dr. Joshua Foster, Dr. Jon Mangels, Dr. Deep Patel, Dr. Kassidy Richardson, Dr. Jacob Simmons, Dr. Richard Walters and Dr. Taylor Wilson.
Foster and Richardson have joined NEA Baptist as internal medicine physicians. Ackley, Patel and Wilson have been accepted into fellowship programs in Tennessee and Kansas. Mangels, Simmons and Walters have accepted internal medicine positions in Louisiana, Mississippi and Missouri.
