Dave Phillips to Speak at July Preaching Series

Dave Phillips, pulpit minister at Germantown Church of Christ, will be the featured speaker for the Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series on Thursday, July 17 at noon in Garrett Auditorium. The auditorium is located at 6027 Walnut Grove Road on Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis’ campus.

Minister Phillips has served Germantown Church of Christ since 1992. He has been chaplain for the City of Germantown for three years. He previously served at Levy Church of Christ in North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Macon Road Church of Christ in Memphis. Before beginning full-time ministry, Minister Phillips worked in development for Christian education at Freed-Hardeman University and Central Arkansas Christian Schools.

He earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Harding School of Theology. He also holds an undergraduate degree in communications from Freed-Hardeman University, and a master’s in interpersonal and organizational communication from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Minister Phillips is married to Ann, and they have two children and four grandchildren.
