Tim and Tiffany McPherson were injured after an explosion occurred inside their taco truck this summer in Huntingdon, Tennessee. They recently visited Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County to thank the first responders and health care professionals who helped care for them immediately following the accident.
The gathering brought together first responders and health care professionals from across the region and provided a special opportunity for the McPhersons to reunite with many of the people who played a role in their care. The couple shared their gratitude for the quick response they received.
“It was a really meaningful morning and a great reminder of the teamwork that takes place across our community when someone needs emergency care,” said Sarah Pitcher, Baptist Carroll County marketing and physician relations manager.
First responders who reunited with the McPhersons gathered at the hospital that morning to attend a burn care in-service coordinated by Hospital Wing medical helicopter service and presented by TriStar Skyline Medical Center’s Burn Center.
