Baptist Union City Supports Community Events

Several Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City team members participated in community events in South Fulton, Tennessee, located in Obion County. One team visited students at South Fulton High School to discuss medical careers, while another served meals to men in recovery from addiction at Hope Center Ministries.

South Fulton High School

Two hospital panels made up of Baptist Union City team members met with about 180 South Fulton High School students to discuss medical career opportunities and hospital news.

Participants included Nicky Thomas, human resources director; Tammy Albright, RN, performance improvement coordinator; Codie Sartin, speech therapist; Sydney Inman, occupational therapist; Kelsey Stubblefield, admissions representative; Chaplain Michael Dennison, director of pastoral care and moderator of the event; Kristin Chicka, radiologist and student program lead; Jennifer Borneman, director of admissions; Danielle Dunn, RN, nurse manager of Labor and Delivery; Christy Stubblefield, RN, nurse manager of the Emergency department; and Skipper Bondurant, Baptist Union City administrator and CEO and a graduate of South Fulton High School.

Hope Center Ministries

Baptist Union City team members and their families recently joined to serve meals and offer encouragement and support to about 30 men in recovery at the Hope Center Ministries in South Fulton.

Skipper Bondurant said, “We at Baptist Union City are so thankful for team members who devote their time to supporting our community throughout the year.”

Those serving included Megan Munoz and Fernando Munoz, both nuclear medicine technologists; Traci Bowlin, CT lead technologist; Dayna Wray, centralized scheduling coordinator; and student Tatum Derringer.

Traci said, “It was such a blessing to be able to support these men on their recovery journey.”
