In honor of Sepsis Awareness Month in September, Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center’s Quality department introduced “Sepsis Jeopardy,” a fun and interactive game to educate team members.

Performance Improvement Coordinator Stephanie Long and Clinical Quality Manager Lee Cottrill use the game to promote learning while keeping things lively on the floor. Long and Cottrill canvass the hospital to bring sepsis education directly to teams and help improve patient care through awareness and education.

For the game, team members choose a topic and difficulty level, then test their knowledge by answering a related question. Participants get to select a treat from the snack cart as their prize.
