Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City leaders gathered with local ministerial leadership for the hospital’s third annual New Year Blessing Dedication on Friday, Jan. 17.
Skipper Bondurant, hospital administrator/CEO, said, “The New Year Blessing has become a great tradition at Baptist Union City, and we’re so thankful to have the support of our community partners.”
Jonathon Williams, director of the Union City Hope Center Ministries, served as keynote speaker. His uplifting message was based on Galatians 6:9: “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
Rev. Russell Zik, associate pastor of care and counseling at Second Baptist Church of Union City, provided the special invocation and benediction.
Hospital leaders, in unison, recited their charge to uphold the mission, vision and values of Baptist Memorial Health Care. The dedication closed with the Lord’s Prayer.
Chaplain Michael Dennison, director of pastoral care for Baptist Union City, said, “We are so very thankful to have ministries like Hope Center and Second Baptist Church who spur us on in our calling to be ambassadors for Christ.”
