Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation and Baptist Cancer Center hosted the third annual Sporting Clays for Cancer event on March 27 at the Sporting Club at Mallard’s Croft in Byhalia, Mississippi. The event raised more than $64,000 for the Baptist Cancer Center Patient Assistance Fund, which subsidizes care, medication-related expenses, transportation, lodging, meals and other supportive services for cancer patients.

“Supporting our cancer patients who need assistance is an important part of our mission, and this event helps us accomplish that,” said Denise Ward, senior development officer for Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation. “I would like to thank Flintco for their generous, continuing support as our presenting sponsor. We’re also thankful to all those who volunteered or participated to make Sporting Clays for Cancer a success.”
