MBMC Celebrates NICU Graduates at Reunion

Mississippi Baptist Medical Center hosted an Easter-themed Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) celebration on Saturday, April 5. NICU graduates, babies who spent time in the NICU and transitioned to pediatric primary care, attended along with their families and the MBMC team members who cared for them.

The reunion featured photos with the Easter Bunny and two chicks, an Easter egg hunt, face painting and games.

“It is rewarding to see our NICU graduates return happy and healthy, to see them running around and interacting with each other,” said Jennifer Williams, director of nursing at MBMC. “The staff form a bond with the parents, and it’s joyful to reunite with them. Some families traveled for hours to visit with us.”
