Chaplain Terry Coleman to Speak at March Preaching Series

Terry Coleman, Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto senior chaplain, will be the featured speaker for the Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series on Thursday, March 20, at noon in Garrett Auditorium. The auditorium is located at 6027 Walnut Grove Road on Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis’ campus.

A native of Memphis, Chaplain Coleman has a Master of Arts in church ministries and is certified as a clinical chaplain and pastoral counselor by the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy. He preached his first sermon at age 16 and served as a full-time pastor for more than 25 years before pursuing hospital chaplaincy, which he has enjoyed for more than 15 years.

Chaplain Coleman has been married to his wife Lea Ann for 45 years. They share three children and nine grandchildren.
