Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County Women’s Center raised nearly $2,000 to purchase car seats for families in need with newborns. For the unique fundraiser, team members donated $10 to “lock up” their colleagues for various “crimes.”
The accused team members were arrested and carried to jail in handcuffs. They were booked and had mugshots taken prior to bonding out or serving their time.
Walmart joined in the fun and assisted with the purchase of car seats. Ten car seats have been purchased for families, with the rest of the funds reserved for future purchases as needed.
