The Baptist Memorial Graduate Medical Education department participated in the National Medical Association’s Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly from July 25 through July 29 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
“Having a booth at the National Medical Association’s conference helped us with recruitment and building awareness of our programs at Baptist Memorial Graduate Medical Education and Baptist Health Sciences University College of Osteopathic Medicine,” said Lakisha Bah-Stewart, system manager of programs and projects for Baptist Memorial Graduate Medical Education. “Our presence at the conference also helped us expand our reach and connect with students who are underrepresented in medicine.”
