Baptist DeSoto Women’s Center moved to a new location at 363 Southcrest Circle, Suite 303, on the campus of Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto. Baptist hosted an open house and ribbon cutting for the new facility on Monday, Nov. 10 and began seeing patients the following day.
The center offers screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, bone density tests and breast ultrasounds. The new diagnostic mammography machines offer high-quality imaging and are designed for patient comfort with decreased compression, comfortable headrests and a carbon fiber design that warms up the patient’s body.
“This is a fantastic move for Baptist DeSoto Women’s Center,” said Brian Hogan, administrator and CEO of Baptist DeSoto. “Not only do we have a larger space for new equipment and rooms, we can now offer convenient access for patients who need screening and diagnostic tests from our women’s center.”
