Baptist Attala and Baptist Yazoo Name New CEOs

Baptist Memorial Health Care promoted Allison Schuler to CEO/chief nursing officer for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Attala and Stefanie Dendy to CEO of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Yazoo. These leaders succeed Mac Flynt who was recently named administrator/CEO of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Oktibbeha County. He served in the administrator/CEO role for Baptist Attala and Baptist Yazoo from April 2023 to September 2025.

“I am thrilled to announce these two well-deserved promotions,” said James Grantham, vice president and administrator of Mississippi Operations for Baptist Memorial Health Care. “Stefanie and Allison will continue to advance Baptist’s mission of healing, preaching and teaching in Attala and Yazoo City while ensuring continued access to high-quality care.”

Schuler brings 25 years of health care experience to her new role, with a strong foundation in clinical excellence and operational leadership. In 2010, she joined Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital, now Baptist Attala, as chief nursing officer before also taking on oversight of ancillary and service areas. Schuler holds both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

With more than 25 years of health care experience, Dendy began her leadership journey in 2003 as radiology director at Kings Daughters Hospital, now Baptist Yazoo. In 2016, she was promoted to clinical operations director, expanding her clinical and operational oversight. She served as interim CEO in 2018, and in 2023, she assumed the role of associate administrator, supporting both Baptist Yazoo and Baptist Attala. Dendy holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Advanced Sciences and is pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport.
