Your health is one of my biggest concerns. It’s why our human resources team works so hard to ensure we offer you great benefits—including BaptistMD 24/7, which I spoke to you about recently. It’s the reason we have a BestHealth employee wellbeing program.
And on September 1, our BestHealth team will launch yet another effort to help improve your health. The new BestHealth Diabetes Management Program will pay for all your copays and deductibles for prescribed diabetes medications and supplies covered under our pharmacy benefit formulary if you join the program and meet a few requirements.
When you join the program, the BestHealth team will provide valuable support to help you manage your disease and your overall wellbeing. You’ll meet with a wellbeing specialist or care coordinator regularly by phone, email and in person to establish personalized health goals and monitor results.
Team members, spouses and dependents with Baptist insurance who have been diagnosed with diabetes, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome or prediabetes are eligible to enroll in this program. You must also complete a BestHealth health risk assessment and biometric screening.
Diabetes can be harmful to your body and can lead to complications if not properly treated. It is particularly prevalent in this part of the country, and it can take a tremendous amount of effort to control it. If you’re suffering from the effects of diabetes, if you’re struggling to control it, or if you’re trying to avoid getting it, the BestHealth Diabetes Management Program is here for you.
You don’t have to face this disease alone. The program’s approach has been proven to work, and I believe it will make a big difference for you and your family. Through this program, the BestHealth team isn’t just telling you to get healthier. They’re removing barriers to make it easier for you to get healthier. And they’ll be with you every step of the way.
Read more about the BestHealth Diabetes Management Program. And don’t forget: all team members who have Baptist insurance must get their full biometric screening and submit their results to BestHealth by Nov. 13 to avoid paying an $80 a month tobacco surcharge.
