The Kroc Center Memphis and Baptist Memorial Health Care announced 12 Aim to Maintain prize winners on Saturday, Jan. 25. The challenge included six weeks of classes and workshops, plus videos and fitness tips to help participants maintain healthy habits during the holiday season and beyond.
“This was my first time joining the Aim to Maintain challenge, and I’m so glad I did. Not only did I avoid my usual winter weight gain — I also lost a few pounds,” said Latasha Mister-Echols, a Kroc Center member and one of the Aim to Maintain prize winners.
The goal of Aim to Maintain is to encourage a healthy lifestyle during a potentially stressful time of the year. The challenge is designed, not for weight loss, but as a healthy intervention for maintaining or improving personal health goals.
Aim to Maintain had 1,718 entries, including entries for classes, workouts, biometric tracking and inviting friends to exercise. Congratulations to the Aim to Maintain prize winners and everyone who participated in the fitness classes during the 2024 holiday season — from Thanksgiving week to Sunday, Jan. 5.
