The Ann L. and Joseph H. Powell Library and Maury W. Bronstein Health Sciences Library hosted an Open House on Monday, Dec. 16. About 50 attendees joined, meeting librarians and reviewing resources available for patients, visitors and all Baptist team members.
Both libraries are located on the Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis campus in Medical Plaza 1 at 6025 Walnut Grove Road. Topics discussed included article retrieval, computer usage, medical journal access, fax and printing services, and book scanning.
“Our goal is to assist our staff members, patients and their family members with resources that will increase their knowledge about health care conditions and assist them with understanding care coordination and available resources,” said Lakisha Bah-Stewart, graduate medical education programs and projects manager for Baptist Memorial Medical Education.
