Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County and Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women celebrated babies and kids — and provided resources for local parents at events in April and May.
Baptist DeSoto
More than 200 new and expectant parents and their families and friends gathered for Baptist DeSoto’s baby fair on Saturday, May 3.
Attendees had the opportunity to speak with physicians, nurses, dietitians and other child health care experts and visit with 32 local vendors. Some topics covered at the event included car seat and seat belt safety, how to have a healthy pregnancy, infant CPR, infant choking, breastfeeding and lactation support services.
Participants also enjoyed a photo booth and free gifts and giveaways from Baptist DeSoto and local vendors.
Baptist Union County
Around 200 new and expectant mothers, along with their families and friends, and nearly 30 vendors participated in Baptist Union County’s annual baby fair on Thursday, April 10.
The event featured educational and safety resources, medical and dental experts, admissions information and Bibles for parents and siblings. Attendees also enjoyed giveaways, door prizes and refreshments.
Baptist Women’s Hospital
Many new and expectant parents attended the Beautiful Beginnings Baby and Kids Fair, hosted by Baptist Women’s Hospital on Saturday, April 12.
The event featured a teddy bear clinic for kids, a photo booth from Picaboo Pics Photography and advice from experts covering everything from labor, childbirth and childhood. Vendors, including pediatricians and dentists, provided giveaways and door prizes.
