On June 27, Baptist leaders hosted a Healthcare Policy Luncheon for the Tennessee Senate Democratic Caucus and guests at the Garrett auditorium at Baptist Memphis. Panelists included Senator Lee Harris, Senator Jeff Yarbro, Senator Sara Kyle, and George Woodbury, Jr. M.D., among others.
During the luncheon, speakers updated guests on legislation affecting the health care industry, as well as future policy issues facing the industry. Jason Little, president/CEO; Rev. Keith Norman, vice president of Government Affairs; and Greg Duckett, senior vice president/chief legal officer all spoke during the event.
