Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death among women who have a gynecological cancer. Dr. Ahmad Azari, a gynecology surgeon for advanced and complex gynecological disorders with Baptist Medical Group, and Susan Moore, the Director of Community Health Education for the Ovarian Cancer Awareness Foundation, will discuss the frequency and often subtle signs and symptoms of this insidious disease.
Dr. Azari, who practices advanced minimally invasive robotic surgery for gynecological conditions, will also discuss the relationship between genetics and ovarian cancer.
