Baptist Memorial Health Care will host a free seminar titled “Watch Those Allergies” on Thursday, April 27 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library at 3030 Poplar Ave. in Meeting Room A.
Kelley Barnett, founder and director of the Food Allergy Alliance of the Mid-South, will lead the informational seminar to increase awareness and provide support for families managing food allergies. The presentation will focus on precautions to take when preparing food for individuals who have food allergies.
This free seminar is part of Baptist Memorial Health Care’s Healthy Living Speaker Series, which is held at Central Library on the fourth Thursday of each month.
