From Dec. 2 – Jan. 3, Baptist colleagues will be able to give back to those in need through Baptist’s annual United Way campaign. Donation forms will be given to all colleagues.
United Way of the Mid-South serves Fayette, Lauderdale, Shelby and Tipton counties in Tennessee; Crittenden County in Arkansas; and DeSoto, Tate and Tunica counties in Mississippi. Colleagues who live outside the Memphis area can direct their donations to the charities of their choice.
United Way of the Mid-South helps support and fund more than 200 non-profit organizations across the Mid-South and helps around 350,000 people, including families, seniors, children, youth and those with disabilities.
More than 90 percent of the donations collected during United Way’s fundraising efforts go back to the community agencies that assist those in need.
Scott Fountain, BMHCC senior vice president and chief development officer, serves on the United Way of the Mid-South Board of Directors.
