Have you ever had a doctor look at your lab results and say that everything looks good but your white count is down a little? Did you know what the doctor meant? Dr. John Bridges, pharmacy director at Baptist Women’s Hospital, will help
attendees understand what some of the most common lab procedures are for and what ranges are considered normal. Also, he will provide a one-page tip sheet to take home.
Dr. Bridges has been a pharmacist with Baptist for 36 years. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with a concentration in biology and chemistry. He has a certification in pain management and is a certified pain educator. A frequent speaker, he enjoys educating the public about relevant topics in pain management, medication management and other related issues.
