Ballet Memphis Welcomes Guest Speaker, Kelly Arney
MEMPHIS, TN, Aug. 27, 2019- Ballet Memphis will welcome special guest speaker Kelly Arney for our Let’s Talk Parkinson’s event on Friday, September 13th at 11:30 am at their Midtown headquarters at 2144 Madison Ave. Arney is the Outreach Coordinator for Vanderbilt Neurology’s National Parkinson’s Foundation and coordinates the PF Patient Registry Study, the largest-ever clinical study of Parkinson’s disease. Arney is a Master’s Level Social Worker who works with Parkinson’s patients to provide resources, support, referrals, and counseling as needed.
Let’s Talk Parkinson’s is free and open to the public. This talk will be of special interest to Parkinson’s patients, caregivers, senior groups, and medical professionals as an opportunity for all that are affected by Parkinson’s Disease to gain further insight from a skilled professional in the field.
Ballet Memphis is hosting this talk in conjunction with their Dance For Parkinson’s program, a gentle movement class focused on Parkinson’s patients and their caregivers. Dance For Parkinson’s is offered each Friday at 10 am at Ballet Memphis. Participants pay just $10 per class at the time of class and caregivers are free.
