On Friday, Dec. 13, Baptist Memorial Health Care will host the fifth annual Tree of Faith, Hope and Love holiday celebration at St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral. Baptist Operation Outreach Mobile Health Clinic patients, who are homeless, will receive a meal in addition to winter clothing items donated by Baptist colleagues.
Thermal undergarments, dark hats, gloves, scarves, socks and lotion are needed to donate to the patients. Colleagues can drop off donated items at pastoral care departments around the system or the Community Relations department in the Corporate building from Monday, Nov. 25 through Monday, Dec. 9. Tree tags with specific donation requests are also available in Community Relations.
Volunteers are also needed to staff the luncheon event from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and to help stuff backpacks on Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 3-5 p.m. in the HR training room at Corporate. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Ann Marie Wallace at 901-227-3512 or AnnMarie.Wallace@bmhcc.org.
