Our facilitator, Dr. Steven Gubin, is the President of Stern Cardiovascular Foundation and is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology, as well as being a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He was President of the Shelby County Division of The American Heart Association from 2001-2003.
Dr. Gubin will discuss who is at risk for developing heart disease; when one should be checked; modifiable risk factors, such as diet and exercise; and non-modifiable risk factors such as family history; and wellness and prevention.
