Please join us for this cityCURRENT signature speaker series event on Friday, September 23, 2022, featuring Rev. Nontombi Naomi Tutu, educator, human rights activist, ordained minister, and daughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The challenges of growing up black and female in apartheid South Africa have been the foundation of Naomi’s life as an activist for human rights. At this free event, Rev. Tutu will share her story and talk about the impacts of the pandemic and cultural influences affecting us today, and offer hope and recommendations for how we can bring our community together to learn from and celebrate our differences and move toward a season of healing and prosperity.
