We know our weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, all of which are important to good health, but ladies, do you know your breast density? 40 percent of women have dense breasts, which makes them four to six times more likely to develop breast cancer.
Our speaker, Beth Turner, will help participants understand the importance of knowing their breast density, how to find out if they have dense breasts and what screening options are available if they do have dense breasts.
Beth is a registered nurse who specializes in women’s health and serves as the administrative director of the Baptist Women’s Health Center, a full service breast center.
