Baptist employees receive a free 3-Day pass for their Explore Bike Share experience. The 3-Day pass includes unlimited 60-minute rides for a 72-hour period. The pass can be redeemed at any bike share station in the entire fleet of electric pedal-assist bicycles with 36 stations across Memphis, including Shelby Farms Park, Overton Park, Tom Lee Park, Big River Crossing, Greenbelt Park (Harbortown), Mud Island, Crosstown, Midtown and Downtown.

Employees should simply: (1) Download the BCycle app (free on iOS or Android), (2) Create an account using their email address, (3) Enter the promo code: BAPTIST325 at checkout to apply the discount. This will automatically unlock the free 3-Day pass (Note: additional time beyond 60 minutes for each ride is billed at just $0.30 per minute). Employees can ride for commuting, wellness, or recreation - promoting healthier lifestyles and sustainable transportation across the city. This special Baptist promotion is available until Thanksgiving Day.

The Explore Bike Share network is the sole bike share provider for Memphis and Shelby County offering nearly 300 state-of-the-arts e-bikes across 36 docking stations. The network is a self-service mobile app based system available 7 days a week. To access the system and make use of the bikes, each rider must download the mobile app which includes accepting the user agreement. This is a national standard for bike share and rideshare systems similar other organizations like Uber and Lyft.

All services including the Baptist discount are only accessible through the mobile app. The discount will be redeemed and applied to each employee’s user agreement account once created. The Explore Bike Share discount works much like other app-related systems like those used by grocery stores, airlines and hotels.
