Our Baptist Cancer Center’s lung cancer program is firing on all cylinders, achieving tremendous success in research and patient care. Some have even called it one of the leading lung cancer programs in the world.
Led by Dr. Raymond Osarogiagbon and Dr. Todd Robbins, our lung cancer program has some of the highest survival rates in the region, is winning international awards and acclaim from leading cancer groups, and is conducting a host of research trials not available elsewhere. I am so proud of our team’s lifesaving work.
News like this deserves to be shared and celebrated. That’s why we are partnering with Local 24, the ABC affiliate television station in Memphis, to feature stories and information about our lung cancer program throughout the month—leading up to a Nov. 19 show that will focus entirely on lung cancer.
We have a systemwide commitment to high-quality cancer care. Our 11 Baptist Cancer Centers are making care more accessible to people throughout the communities we serve, plus they’re providing important community outreach activities such as seminars, education and screenings. Lung cancer is a devastating disease that disproportionately affects people in the three states we serve. Thankfully we have the facilities, technology and team to treat those who have the disease and protect those who don’t.
