In early May, a cyberattack shut down an oil pipeline system that carries gasoline to the Southeastern United States. As a result, several states experienced crippling gas shortages. Attacks like this one have been happening for a while to large organizations, including health care systems. It hasn’t happened to us yet, but hackers are trying to infiltrate our systems every day.
