If you read Leader, you know we regularly feature team members who have won Service First and DAISY Awards for going the extra mile with our patients and fellow team members. It has been a while since we last featured these special team members, but we’re getting back on track, starting this week.
I’m so glad our entities have continued this special tradition. You deserve to be recognized for continuing to provide unparalleled care, particularly in the face of COVID-19, large volumes and long hours. We must share the great work you do in our hospitals, physician offices, business offices and everywhere else.
By combining great care and great service, you leave an indelible mark on others. Your kind words and actions touch lives and contribute to great patient experiences. You’re enhancing our trusted brand, so people throughout our service area know they can rely on us for empathetic, compassionate, extraordinary care when they need it most.
Giving you Service First and DAISY Awards is the least we can do for your wonderful service. And even though we can’t hold the usual celebrations right now, we can and will always honor you for your outstanding work.
Don’t forget that you can nominate your co-workers for a Service First award, and you or patients can nominate nurses for a DAISY Award. And don’t forget to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. I’m available by email, on Twitter @jason_m_little and on LinkedIn.
