Providing excellent care is something we all strive for at Baptist. But sometimes we fall short or see opportunities for improvement. These opportunities, or “teachable moments,” can result in better care for patients and safer work environments for visitors and our team. Starting on March 31, we will begin using OSCAR, a new reporting tool that will help us capture mistakes and near-misses seamlessly and in real-time so we can learn from them and provide higher quality care. In this video, Baptist President and CEO Jason Little talks to the architects of our quality and safety program to share how this new system will transform how we respond to critical incidents that affect patient care and employee safety.
