West Fraser, a Canadian forestry company with an office in Cordova, Tennessee, presented a check for $5,000 to Baptist Women’s Health Center on Friday, Dec. 13. The funds will be used to provide mammograms through the mobile mammography unit along with crucial support and resources for patients in need of assistance.
Employees of West Fraser raised the funds during October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Denise Ward, senior development officer for Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation, and Jennifer Coleman, outreach and event coordinator for Baptist Women’s Health Center, met with West Fraser representatives to receive the check.
