Mississippi State Department of Health State Health Officer Dr. Daniel Edney recently visited Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County to meet with hospital leaders and physicians.
Dr. Edney provided updates on health initiatives, improvements and challenges. Keith Norman, vice president/chief government affairs and community relations officer for Baptist, expressed appreciation for the department’s collaboration and commitment to improving health disparities in the region.
