The seventh annual Miles 4 Milla on Saturday, May 20, at Wiseacre on Broad Avenue in Memphis raised more than $175,000 for Milla’s House, the Baptist Centers for Good Grief’s Midtown Memphis location.
There were 220 riders between the 43-mile, 20-mile and 5-mile routes. Nearly 500 people registered for Miles 4 Milla, including some who registered only for the post-ride party.
Since its opening, Baptist Centers for Good Grief has provided more than 115,000 individual grief counseling sessions, and Milla’s House is one of three critical locations providing grief support. Milla’s House offers space for group and individual counseling, educational opportunities and camp or retreat experiences.
