Eight Baptist Hospitals Achieve an “A” Safety Grade

Several Baptist hospitals earned an “A” Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade for fall 2021, including Baptist Booneville, Baptist Carroll County, Baptist Golden Triangle, Baptist North Mississippi, Baptist Union City, Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, Baptist Union County and NEA Baptist. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only ratings program for hospitals that’s based exclusively on hospital prevention of medical errors and harms to patients. Grades are updated in the fall and spring.

Baptist Golden Triangle is the only Mississippi hospital and one of only 23 nationwide to earn an “A” every grading cycle since 2012.

Baptist Union City and Baptist Carroll County are the only two hospitals in West Tennessee (outside the metro-Memphis area) that earned an “A” rating for fall 2021.

The Leapfrog Group is an independent national watchdog organization that assigns grades to general hospitals based on more than 30 performance measures reflecting errors, injuries, accidents and infections, as well as systems hospitals have in place to prevent harm.
