Roger D. Duke, who works as a consultant, teacher and writer after retiring from Baptist Health Sciences University, will be the featured speaker for the Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series on Thursday, Oct. 19, at noon at Garrett Auditorium on the Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis campus.
He holds graduate degrees from The University of the South: School of Theology at Sewanee, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Harding University Graduate School of Religion. He taught at the college, university and graduate school levels for 20 years and has written, edited and contributed to numerous books and publications. Roger has been married to Linda Y. Duke for 49 years. They have three adult children and four grandsons.
