Rev. Lawrence Ragland, senior pastor at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Hickman, Kentucky, will be the featured speaker for the Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series on Thursday, Sept. 19 at noon in Garrett Auditorium, 6027 Walnut Grove Road, on Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis’ campus.
Rev. Ragland has been in ministry for 42 years, serving Tennessee, Mississippi and Kentucky. He was friends with Rev. Jimmy Terry and preached revivals and annual days at Rev. Terry’s former church, Tabernacle Missionary Church in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Rev. Ragland earned a Bachelor of Science from Union University, a Master of Pastoral Leadership from Andersonville Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Divinity from Tennessee School of Religion. He has two daughters and two grandchildren.
