Rev. Anthony Burdick, system director of Pastoral Care for Baptist, will be the featured speaker for the Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series on Thursday, Aug. 15 at noon in Garrett Auditorium, 6027 Walnut Grove Road, on Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis’ campus.
Rev. Burdick earned a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1987 and completed a two-year chaplain residency at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. He joined Baptist’s Pastoral Care department in 1994 and became system director in 2006.
Rev. Burdick serves on the board of Crosslink Memphis, a medical mission support ministry. He regularly serves as a pastor during FaithWalk Mid-South weekends and enjoys writing devotionals for Baptist Memorial and the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
