New process will make signing up for benefits even easier
This year’s open enrollment period will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and end on Friday, Nov. 8 with a new benefit enrollment process and a number of additional voluntary benefit options.
Rather than attending benefits meetings and choosing benefits on Baptist OneTeam, all benefit-eligible full-time and part-time team members – whether or not you want Baptist benefits next year – must make a 30-minute appointment with a benefit counselor from EOI Service Company. The counselor will help ensure you enroll in the coverage best suited to you and your family. During this enrollment period only, you will also have the opportunity to elect coverage for certain voluntary benefits without answering medical questions.
Baptist has partnered with EOI, a company that has more than 40 years of industry experience, to serve as an extension of our benefits department during open enrollment.
To make an appointment with a counselor:
- Visit BMH.MyBenefitsAppointment.com to make an in-person appointment
- Text “BMH” to 313131
- To speak with a benefits counselor for a phone consultation, visit Baptist.MyBenefitsAppointment.com
- Call 833-721-4023 between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm Central, Monday through Friday.
You should have received an email with more information about open enrollment, and you’ll receive three additional emails between now and Nov. 8.
PLEASE NOTE: If you don’t enroll in benefits by Friday, Nov. 8, you will not have Baptist benefits in 2020. You will not be defaulted to the consumer driven health plan.
