The Mississippi Society of Health System Pharmacists (MSHP) recently held its summer 2025 meeting, and several Mississippi Baptist Medical Center (MBMC) team members served as speakers, received recognition and were installed as MSHP officers.
MSHP honored Harleigh Aldridge, clinical pharmacist at MBMC, as MSHP Outstanding Young Health-Systems Pharmacist.
MSHP President Lauren Breite and MSHP Secretary Jessica Everitt, both MBMC clinical pharmacy specialists, were installed in their new MSHP leadership roles. Shanna Whitwell, MBMC Outpatient Pharmacy Operations manager, was installed as MSHP co-chair of the Practice Advancement Initiative.
Zach Allen, MBMC lead pharmacist, gave a “Critical Care Pearls” presentation. MSHP Past President Phil Ayers, MBMC manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services, presented an overview of MSHP state advocacy initiatives.
MSHP Immediate Past President LeAnn Scott, MBMC clinical pharmacy specialist and residency program director; and MSHP Past President Caroline Bobinger, clinical pharmacy specialist at MBMC; and MSHP Education Committee Member Kelly Dixon, MBMC pharmacy specialist, were recognized at the meeting.
