Mississippi Baptist Medical Center’s Baptist Cancer Center team walked in support of the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Mississippi State Capitol. The hospital was the flagship sponsor, and Deniece Ponder, oncology service line director, welcomed the crowd of approximately 8,000 on the morning of the walk.
