Mission Mississippi President to Speak at Next Preaching Series Event

Pastor Neddie Winters, president of Mission Mississippi, a movement in the body of Christ to reconcile individuals across racial and denominational lines, will be the featured speaker at this month’s Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series event, which will be held on Thursday, July 16, at 12:00 p.m. at Garrett Auditorium.

A native Mississippian, Pastor Winters has 40 years of experience in pastoral ministry, management, administration, executive leadership, mortgage financing, agricultural and non­agricultural lending, training and promotional development activities. He is a consultant, leadership development trainer and coach, conference speaker and workshop leader.

Pastor Winters holds a Bachelor of Science degree in general agriculture from Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi, and a master’s degree in public financial management from The American University in Washington D.C. He also pursued further Biblical studies at the Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, and Stephen Olford Preaching Institute in Memphis, Tennessee.

He has been married to his wife, Tommie, for 48 years. They live in Clinton, Mississippi, and have five children, 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
