Make-A-Wish Mississippi collaborated with Mississippi Baptist Medical Center to grant the wish of 10-year-old Levi D’Anjou from Byram, Mississippi.
Levi loves Mickey Mouse, and his one true wish is to go to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. That wish is coming true soon.
Thanks to Make-A-Wish Mississippi and Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, Levi will travel with his family to Walt Disney World later this month. The ride he’s looking forward to most is the roller coaster.
On Friday, May 13, Levi and his family enjoyed a wish send-off party at Chick-fil-A in Ridgeland, Mississippi. The Chick-fil-A mascot even joined the party.
At birth, Levi was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect called hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Since his diagnosis, Levi has undergone six cardiac surgeries and open-heart procedures. Although Levi has been through so much, he continues to remain positive and happy.
