Dr. Fred Shackelford, senior pastor of Ellendale Baptist Church in Bartlett, Tennessee, will be the featured speaker at the Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series event on Thursday, May 18 at noon at the Garrett Auditorium on the Baptist Memphis campus.
A Memphis native, Dr. Shackelford holds a master’s degree and a doctoral degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. From 2011-2012, he served as president of the Tennessee Baptist Convention. Dr. Shackelford and his wife, Jennifer, minister together and have three children.
