Lawrence Ragland to Speak at June Preaching Series

Lawrence Ragland, senior pastor of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Hickman, Kentucky, will be the featured speaker for the Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series on Thursday, June 18 at noon in Garrett Auditorium. The auditorium is located at 6027 Walnut Grove Road on Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis’ campus. This will be Ragland’s second time to speak for the series.

Ragland has been in ministry for 44 years, serving Tennessee, Mississippi and Kentucky. He was friends with Rev. Jimmy Terry and preached revivals and annual days at Terry’s former church, Tabernacle Missionary Church in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Ragland earned a Bachelor of Science from Union University, a Master of Pastoral Leadership from Andersonville Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Divinity from Tennessee School of Religion. He has two daughters and two grandchildren.
