Michael R. Spradlin, Ph.D., president of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (MABTS), will be the featured speaker for the Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series on Thursday, June 19 at noon in Garrett Auditorium. The auditorium is located at 6027 Walnut Grove Road on Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis’ campus. This is Rev. Spradlin’s third time to speak for the series.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ouachita Baptist University and a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from MABTS. He has a versatile ministry background that includes preaching, teaching, starting new congregations and ministering during international and North American mission trips. In addition to serving as the president of MABTS, he is the chair of the evangelism department, a professor in the church history department and the author of many scholarly articles and books.
