Michael R. Spradlin, Ph.D., president of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (MABTS), will be the featured speaker at the Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series event on Thursday, July 21 at noon at the Garrett Auditorium.
Dr. Spradlin received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ouachita Baptist University, and a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from MABTS. He has a versatile ministry background that includes preaching, teaching, church planting and many international and North American mission trips. In addition to serving as the president of MABTS, Dr. Spradlin is the Chair of the Evangelism department and a professor in the Church History department. He is the author of many scholarly articles and books.
Dr. Spradlin and his wife, Lee Ann, live in Memphis, and they have three children and one daughter-in-law.
