The April Jimmy Terry Preaching Series brings an unexpected guest speaker to the podium: Baptist’s own President and CEO, Jason Little. When the scheduled guest speaker cancelled at the last minute, organizers made a special request for him to share a message. And he graciously agreed.
The event will be held on Thursday, April 19, at Garrett Auditorium on the Baptist Memphis campus from noon-1 p.m. Click here to find out where you can watch the message at your entity. If you miss the live event, you can catch this one and all past events here.
While obviously known throughout Baptist as our president and CEO, Little’s leadership also extends into his personal faith community. As an ordained deacon, he is the vice chair of the deacon body at Germantown Baptist Church in Germantown, Tennessee. He also serves as a Sunday school teacher and has taught an adult-age class for more than 4 years.
“Rev. Terry lived by one motto: ‘It’s all about Jesus.’ It will be an honor to speak at the event named in his memory,” said Little.
Little comes from a rich faith background. His grandfather was a Presbyterian minister in West Tennessee. “He was my hero,” he said.
